london-dj--Best DJs working in london services
You should employ some actions if you were to work on two working turntables with running records. Should you want to deal with ordinary sounds like the hi-hat, you may want to try this setup. You may want to look into the second turntable first and give attention to regular noise. By listening to the second record first, sounds from each turntable can be differentiated and can be assessed if they are even synchronized. A familiar process which is known as pitching down a record will enable you to slow the second record. You can then head start again to more sets of trying. The second track will have to be played faster in order to synch it with the first track, should the opposite happen. After doing this repetitively, you will be able to get the right sound.

One mixing skill which you should be accustomed to is beatmixing (or beat-matching), and this basically means having to synchronize the clock speeds from two running records. Beatmixing which is also known as beat-matching is one trick which a DJ should be very accustomed to. This skill is a must when mixing songs in the genre of Techno, House or Jungle. Songs which come from other genres like hip-hop need two other skills which are called scratching and Beatjuggling.

Working for DJ London has taught me the difference between the Baby Scratch and the Transform Scratch Drag. A Baby Scratch is the simplest type of scratch and can be performed by just moving the turntable plate in a forward and backward manner. The Baby Scratch produces the common "zigga zigga" sound while the Transform Scratch Drag produces the sound when the turntable plate is moved fast first, and then slowed down thereafter. This changes the sound as a faster plate movement will make for heightened sounds and a slower plate movement will make for lowered sounds, in terms of sound pitch that is. You have to make sure that the cross fader is turned off and that the plate is placed on original position before starting. Of the scratch the turntable plate assembly forwards while the cross fader short direction is "on" and immediately moves towards "off". The vinyl will go back to its original place when the crossover is turned off.

These techniques require two functional turntables. These turntables should have usable headsets and cross-faders. In fact, both turntables must be as alike as each other. It will be impossible to do mixing if this premise is not followed.

Modern technology is breaking grounds when it comes to mixing sounds. As a result, turntables are not used anymore. Computer programs can accordingly adjust the BPM count from tracks and adjust them if needed. By simpler and faster matching of tracks with graphical feedback in the form of BPM and waveform display, DJs have more time for other creative manipulations.
